GAME DESIGNER/CONSULTANT. Tron 2.0 for Disney, Spider-Man for Sega, Bard's Tale IV for Electronic Arts, The Tribe (an ubergame running throughout Atari/Infogrames), Superman for Brilliant Digital Entertainment, Mark Twain for Brderbund, The Strangers for Sony, and others.

FILM/TELEVISION/ANIMATION WRITER. The first Batman movie for Time-Warner (story and treatment), the NightMan series for Malibu Entertainment and Larson Entertainment, Droids for Lucasfilm Ltd., Team Atlantis for Disney, and others. Five Hollywood productions have been based on my writing, and three more partially so.

AUTHOR/SENIOR AUTHOR. Lead author for two graphics publishers, Marvel Entertainment and DC Comics (The Batman, Justice League, The Hulk, Silver Surfer, Captain America - basically everyone you've ever heard of). Co-founder of the Ultraverse product line for Malibu Entertainment. I specialize in creating product lines and revitalizing sagging ones. 

NON-FICTION/SCIENCE WRITER. My biography of the Wright Brothers, Countdown to Flight, is NASA's top selection for science in American schools. 

WEB SITE DESIGNER/EDITOR. Web Site Editor at steveenglehart.com (currently) and games.com.

EDITOR/SENIOR EDITOR. Editor with Marvel Entertainment, producing fifteen to twenty magazines a month. Trained as a Broadcast Journalist with the Army. Features Editor for the Army Times.

DOCUMENTATION MANAGER. Managed writing and documentation production teams of as many as twenty staff-members at Activision. Designed and wrote all the manuals and most of the promotional materials for the firm's several product lines. My manual for Ataris Eastern Front won an Award of Merit from the West Coast Art Directors.

COMPUTER SAVVY. Creator of the "Personal Macintosh" section of MacUser. Skilled in PC and Mac and commercial software packages.

TECHNOLOGY SAVVY. Skilled in computer technology and science themes, and in researching areas outside my personal knowledge.

DEADLINE AND SCHEDULE DRIVEN. I've planned, researched, written, and met production deadlines for publications in the computer industry, newspapers, magazines, television/animation production, and conventional book publishers - where the deadlines are often weekly or even daily.
